Oh my goodness. This. is. pure. genius.
[Above: I love how the guy on the the left looks so uncomfortable - poor boy]
Photos: Jan von Holleben
It’s been awhile (…this seems to be the first thing a say in every blog entry these days)!
But I thought I should share my excitement – My toe nail is finally coming off!

[FYI - I, in all honesty, didn't take this photo with the intention of having that other photo in the background. But still, it seems so appropriate!]
If you’re interested in the story behind how this happened, read on. I have to go and study, so this will be in bullet-point form:
1. Did the 10km Bridge to Brisbane run with Justin Chan & Paul Lim
2. Wore not-so-great shoes to run in
3. Both index toes (is that what it’s called?) got bruised
4. These toes turned purple in colour
5. They then turned dark purple in colour
6. The purple bit underneath the nail became removable
7. I proceeded to remove that undergarment (sorry, wrong choice of words again?)
8. There was then a gap (of air) between my nail and my flesh, however I couldn’t remove the nail for weeks and weeks
9. Now I can!
10. The end
How’s THAT for a bed-time story ?
Here’s one way you can make your photos have an “aged” effect without having to pour coffee on them. (Did you ever do that in primary school? To make a treasure map, you’d burn the edges of the paper and pour coffee on it? No? Just me…? Okay.)

A few weeks ago, Christianne, Christine & I set apart one day to do a 1,000 piece puzzle…
We completed the border and then the day was over…
Not because we’re mentally challenged, but because it was super hard!! All the pieces were the same cut!!
Anyway, the puzzle’s been at christine’s house since Christianne has vacated back to m’sia.
Check out the progress:
What a genius you are christine!!
The secret’s out: Christianne’s friend Su-Ann has a superpower. I knew there was a superpower missing from Heroes (the TV show)
Specifically watch the beginning of this & make sure your sound is turned up to the MAX
Very powerful stuff:
Can Lisa Hong top this…?
I had THE BEST day today. I went to the beach with 3 of the most awesome girls in the world. Christianne, Christine & Lauranne – big shout out to you guys. I praise God so much for you girls. What phenomenal friends he’s blessed me with.
I’ll now explain the title of this post:
1. Melted Kit Kat:
We bought a few snacks for our beach rendezvous, including a delicious block of Kit Kat. It melted during the day. It was so hot that you could’ve used it as a hot compress (slight exaggeration). Anyway, now it’s hard again and “deliciously ugly” as Lisa Hong would describe a lot of the things she makes.
2. Sand burns:
The weather was more than we could ever ask for – perfect. Not scorcher, but just right. The waves were not as welcoming though. The water was FREEZING and the waves were rough. Christianne and I tried to swim with a wave and we got rag-dolled around giving us stinging sand burns on our knees. Yeouch.
3. Unwanted tan:
Christianne specifically wanted to get a tan today. Lauranne and I didn’t mind either way. Christine embraces fair skin and she didn’t want a tan. Yeh, she was the only one that got a noticeable tan.
All in all, it was a GREAT day. I might put up some photos soon.
I’m so happily exhausted
Alright Lauranne, I will only do this because you caps locked my name
I feel the love.
Name: Awesome
Sisters: 1.2
Brothers: My parents were considering … but no. His name would’ve been “Marcus” – true story.
Shoe size: 8

Where do you live: In the hood, ya’ll
Have you ever..
Been on a plane: Yes
Swam in the ocean: Yes
Fallen asleep at school: NEVER! But I have actually pretended to fall asleep during primary school once because I wanted my teacher to carry me to the mattress at nap time. Worked a treat.
Broken someone’s heart: Oh, you know what I always say, “Treat ‘em mean, keep ‘em keen”
Fell off your chair: Not in a long time
What is your room like: Its got lots of photos/snippets/posters/drawings that have accumulated over the years. On Sunday it’s usually clean and by Friday BAM it’s ground zero.
Do you..
Believe in love at first sight: Hmm.. I don’t know if it’s something i “believe in” per say (“JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION!”, I can hear you all say). But I do think it does happen.
Who was / were the last person(s)..
You danced with: Myself
Last made you smile: I don’t know, but a reasonably good-looking shop-assistant told me I had a nice smile on Saturday. I was all-smiles after that.
Today did you..
Talk to someone you like: Yes… Christine and Christianne.
Kissed anyone: I did give my mum a peck on the cheek.

Do you want children: Yes. 2-3. Maybe 4. Maybe… 5 billionnnnn. Any takers?
Do you like your hand-writing: Yes I do. I love hand-writing in general. You can tell a lot about a person by looking at their hand-writing.
Are your toe nails painted: No
Whose bed other than yours would you rather sleep in: Any bed that isn’t concaved in the centre. It’s a dangerous place I tell you.
When did you cry last: Yesterday. One video on Australia’s funniest home videos made me laugh SO HARD. Ask Mae.
Are you a friendly person: I try to be. But I do get into funny moods where I don’t feel like being friendly so… WATCH YA SELF
Where is the person you have feelings for right now: Oh I’ll give you a hint – he’s on planet earth. Now I’ve probably made it too easy.

Can you handle the truth: and nothing but the truth.
Who was the last person you cried in front of: My mum & Mae
How many people can you say you’ve really loved: Give or take 6 BILLLIONNNN (I’m really liking the numbers in the billion range nowadays)
Do you eat healthy: I try. But do enjoy the whipped cream on my frappucinos. If I had it my way, I’d just get the whole drink as cream and caramel on top. Straight to the thighs.
Do you still have pictures of you & your ex: Yeh, me and my ex-traordinary friends. Dodged that one, didn’t I ![]()
Have you ever cried because of something someone said to you: Yeh probably.
Are you loud or quiet most of the time: Loud
Are you confident: it depends on what the scenario is but generally yes.
Are you controlling: Yes, I consider myself a little bit of a control freak. I prefer to do it all by myself.
5 things I was doing 10 years ago -
1. Ten years ago!! Woah I would’ve been 9 then. I probably was playing with my Barbie & cutting her hair… and then regretting it.
2. Playing with my neighbours. Now I never see them and when I do it’s SO awkward.
3. I might have got my pen license… 9 years old is so long ago
4. Stayed at my Oma & Opa’s a lot.
5. I’m pretty sure I played a sheep in my school play. It was called, “We like sheep” – no kidding.
5 things I would do if I were a billionaire -
1. Buy an Aston Martin
2. Travel the WORRRLD
3. Get my teeth whitened (… yeh I don’t think I can comprehend how much money one billion is)
4. Buy some awesome house somewhere
5. Reconsider my last 4 options as being too selfish.
5 jobs I’ve had -
1. Donutkinger
2. Boost Juicer
3. Annoying sister
4. Rebellious teenager
5. Fulfilling the great comission (hahahaa… but seriously)
5 people I tag-
1. Anyone who’s name begins with an A
2. Anyone who’s name begins with a B
3. Anyone who’s name begins with a C
4. Anyone who’s name begins with a D
5. Anyone who’s name begins with a E-Z

Apparently my handwriting says this about me:
You plan ahead, and are interested in beauty, design, outward appearance, and symmetry.
You are a shy, idealistic person who does not find it easy to have relationships, especially intimate ones.
You are diplomatic, objective, and live in the present.
You are a talkative person, maybe even a busybody!
You enjoy life in your own way and do not depend on the opinions of others.
… yeh, so it’s a bit contradictory – “shy” and “talkative”. Oh well, twas fun.
Now you try it
