It’s been awhile (…this seems to be the first thing a say in every blog entry these days)!
But I thought I should share my excitement – My toe nail is finally coming off!

[FYI - I, in all honesty, didn't take this photo with the intention of having that other photo in the background. But still, it seems so appropriate!]
If you’re interested in the story behind how this happened, read on. I have to go and study, so this will be in bullet-point form:
1. Did the 10km Bridge to Brisbane run with Justin Chan & Paul Lim
2. Wore not-so-great shoes to run in
3. Both index toes (is that what it’s called?) got bruised
4. These toes turned purple in colour
5. They then turned dark purple in colour
6. The purple bit underneath the nail became removable
7. I proceeded to remove that undergarment (sorry, wrong choice of words again?)
8. There was then a gap (of air) between my nail and my flesh, however I couldn’t remove the nail for weeks and weeks
9. Now I can!
10. The end
How’s THAT for a bed-time story ?
