Organic bananas

Organic bananas

“As part of my residency in Costa Rica I am presenting an installation/performance where I will be sleeping with a green banana bunch until it ripens with the aid of my body’s warmth.”

I’m doing sum sum (summer sumester… yes I know that’s incorrectly spelt. Deal with it.).

Today I had my first tutorial. Seriously, there were like 10 of us and a grand total of 1 Caucasian guy who stuck out like a sore thumb. To top it all off there’s another girl named Li in the class, so the tutor now refers to us as “Li-1″ and “Li-2″.

I’m getting a little nervous about this summer semester stuff – hopefully I’ll stay motivated! It’s kinda doesn’t help when you walk into an empty library where you have full access to any computer you want, where there’s never a line to go to the toilet etc etc. I mean even this morning the librarian started talking to me when I was sitting in the course reserve section. He sarcastically said, “Gee, you’re making a lot of noise!!” Hmm.. I’m pretty sure by the end of summer semester I’ll be well acquainted with the librarians.

Anyway, I’m off, I have a lecture to go to. PARRRTYYYYYYYYYY!!

I’ve had my MacBook for about 2 years now and it still has no place to rest.

How nice is this laptop case by Shuky:

Shuky case

I would really like it.

Come to think of it, Christmas and my birthday are just around the corner.

Excellent timing.

Remember me? The creator of this blog – Li. Yes yes, I know I have been absent for quite some time & I know that means a lot of you would have nothing to do (Hi Niti – my #1 fan). But I’m back and ready to post and post and post.

The last month-ish has been pretty darn hectic. Finished exams about a week ago and now I’m onto summer semester (call me crazy). With the help of sms’ from friends, taking msn-breaks at zombie hours of the morning (thank you Asher), a few V’s (thank you Jazner), I was able to have 2 all-nighters this time round. That gives me a grand total of 3 all nighters in my life time.

Wanna know my secret to success? This is how I’ve been getting up in the morning:

A DIY alarm. Batteries not included.

My DIY alarm. Batteries not included.

That’s a photo of my ceiling by the way. Hmmm.. yeh my DIY alarm didn’t really work since I don’t look directly 90 degrees upwards when I wake up. I’m more of a 45 degree person. I’ll try that next time.

Here’s another secret to success. I think I blew these master pieces on one of my all nighters:

Bubble trouble 1 Bubble trouble 3 Bubble trouble 2

Obviously these all-nighters were very productive.

Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that you can stop twiddling your thumbs because I am back to entertain you… like Robbie Williams. If you didn’t get that joke, either I am lame or you are not intelligent. I would like to think it’s the second of the two.
